Our narrow beam boat, Lady Hilda, is available for hire by community groups such as Guides, Scouts or similar organisations. A 62 foot semi-traditional narrowboat, she sleeps nine people on individual bunks and has a well-equipped galley, seating for all around a moveable table, a shower room and two toilets – so is ideal for anyone wishing to take small groups out for a day, a weekend or longer. She can accommodate 9 people overnight or 12 during the day (including the skipper).
We offer skippered evening or day trips, and residentials for a weekend or longer. Residential trips must include a qualified skipper (CCBM or equivalent) – we may be able to provide one of our Scout or Guide skippers if needed. Please enquire about this when making your booking.

Prices
Skippered youth group day hire (weekend): £180
Skippered youth group day hire (weekday): £140
Youth group residential: £140 per day (minimum 2 days) – so £280 per weekend
Youth group residential (per week): £650
All residential hires start and finish at 5pm (eg Friday 5pm to Sunday 5pm = 2 days) unless
agreed otherwise, and must include a qualified skipper (we can provide one if necessary, free
of charge, subject to availability)
All prices include VAT where applicable
